Statements like the above clearly indicate we have grown to accept the fact that all individuals, all the time, are constantly expressing certain radiance, an aura, which is completely unique to our personalities. But we seldom consider this radiance to be an actual, existing energy field emanating from our physical body. Even so, virtually every one of us has experienced the feeling of this power or subtle radiation which transpires from certain individuals.

But it is not only our perceptions which indicate that auric fields exist. There are countless descriptions of this phenomenon from clairvoyants, people who are capable of perceiving or actually seeing the human energy field. Some of these sensitive and gifted individuals have proven again and again that they indeed have the ability to perceive a higher dimension of existence.

Many scientists from around the world have also researched this phenomenon. Dr. Valerie Hunt electronically measured both the frequency and the location of the bio-field on hundreds of human subjects. Her readings directly correlated with results received from established aura readers. Between 1970 and 1990, Hiroshi Motoyama electronically measured the acupuncture meridians which span thousands of years of eastern medicine. Dr. Robert Becker also verified the existence of a human electro-magnetic field. He discovered direct, current control systems on the human body which change with the state of health and disease.

Throughout history, many different names and descriptions have been given to the human life energy field around us. Depending on their cultural background, various scientists and other individuals have referred to this energy field as: biofield, orgon, electro-magnetic field, life force, chi, ki, vital energy, and of course, the aura.

But at this point I don't wish to look into this subject from a scientific point of view. In our interactions with other people we are continually confronted with the effects of the human energy field. Attraction or rejection are just some of the reactions we experience when we come in contact with other people. The subtle, auric field which radiates around us reflects our inner world. Whatever we feel, think or believe inside, is reflected within our aura and radiates and interacts with our environment.

Could this possibly be the reason why some people always seem to have good luck in their life while others seem to have none? And why is it that some people seem to attract the same life situations over and over?

I am sure you know or at least have heard of the type of woman who left her partner because he abused her. But shortly thereafter, as if some magical attraction radiates around her, she meets another person. In the beginning of their relationship this person is attentive and caring. But then, and usually after a short period of time, she discovers he is as violent and abusive as her former boyfriend. Perhaps you have seen reoccurring patterns like these in your own life.

We have all experienced this attraction - reaction phenomenon. For me, it is especially obvious when I 'm in a bad mood. This is a situation in which no words need to be spoken. I may look completely normal, certainly not angry at all. But for some unexplained reason my mood and emotions seem to radiate around me and other people pick up on them. I find it fascinating how many angry people or strange situations I attract if I am angry myself. But luckily, if I'm in a very positive, flowing life situation, I also express an aura of luck and success which opens countless doors and lets the best of things happen virtually effortlessly.
